Chalet Val d'Abondance Chatel

Chalet Val d'Abondance is owned by a group of British ski enthusiasts. Its our second home and this website was set up to provide information to the owners, their families and friends planning to visit. As you would expect we have focused on providing comfortable, spacious accommodation, gourmet food, a great atmosphere, all in a stunning Alpine location. That's "the Val" experience.

Whether it's skiing or snow boarding across the vast Portes du Soleil ski area, hiking, mountain biking and white water rafting in summer, or just relaxing, its a holiday to remember.

Originally built as a hotel, Chalet Val d'Abondance has been extensively renovated and updated, and our staff work hard to provide a welcoming, club like atmosphere. To keep things running smoothly day to day operations are overseen by a small management committee within guidelines agreed at the annual owners meeting (party).

This approach seems to work, as the Val is known for its friendly club-like atmosphere, and our commitment to ensuring that standards of comfort and service remain high.
